accessPRO WATER
Busy managers of dairy farms, farms and horticultural operations don’t always have time to supervise every detail of the water supply, irrigation, soil moisture and run-off yet water is their most precious resource.
Monitoring water, pumps and meters around the countryside can be an expensive task for farmers as well as Councils. It’s just not possible for a person to always be on the spot when something goes wrong, or even know about a problem until it has become large and costly.
With accessPRO managing water reticulation around the clock, the task becomes a whole lot easier, more efficient and cost-effective. Data is derived from pumps, dams, soil, storage tanks, irrigation, centre pivots, run-off and flow meters (and any other measureables) to aid water reticulation management for agriculture and horticulture.
Applications:
Dairy farms and farms - irrigation, fertigation, effluent disposal and pumpshed equipment, safety of centre pivots
Horticultural operations - orchards, vineyards, market gardens
Protected cultivation environments - greenhouses, growth chambers
Regional Councils - monitoring pumping operations, water flows and wastewater
> Reduce water wastage and cost, or over or under-irrigating
> Ensure centre pivots operate safely, monitoring position to avoid collisions
> Prioritise multiple water supplies keeping levels optimal
> Synchronise irrigation machinery in different locations
> Protect and operate machinery safely
> Simplify decision-making
> Meet flow meter compliance regulations
> Monitor trends
> Identify potential problems in advance
> Remotely access controls and information reports
> Integrate measurements and machinery for controlling systems
> Install and expand easily
Whether your interest is obtaining reports from flow meters, co-ordinating and synchronising water pumps, storage tanks and irrigation, or full-scale greenhouse environment management, accessPRO is the technology that improves total system performance.
From the moment the console is plugged in it begins creating a baseline and intelligently analysing trends, generating meaningful reports and audits. It will alert the presence of trend abnormalities or errors and take action according to your requirements. Noticing trends that indicate a problem or a potential problem enables preventative maintenance to be carried out before the problem becomes costly.
Water reticulation:
accessPRO supervises and controls all irrigation and water supply situations ensuring optimal use of water and safe operation of machinery. It promotes good pasture husbandry by providing the means to measure and monitor soil temperature, soil moisture, evapo-transpiration, rainfall, rain radar, run-off. It uses that information to irrigate to the correct depth, avoiding leaching, under-irrigating or over-use of water. It will feed-forward from weather system information to avoid irrigating at the wrong time. Measurements may be collected automatically as defined by the presence of certain other measured conditions. (e.g. water run-off to be monitored from time irrigation begins operating to 3 hours after irrigation has ceased.)
accessPRO can utilise your own historical information and sync with external information to make the best possible watering decisions with today’s data.
Examples of typical scenarios:
If there is no flow when there should be flow, the pump is to be turned off.
If there is flow but the pump is not operating, the manager is to receive an alert by text and email.
If tank no 3 level reaches 20%, all irrigation is to be ceased.
If fertiliser is being injected into the flow line for current delivery sequence but desired conductivity level is not being reached, an alert to check fertiliser supply and/or injection equipment to be sent.
If data indicates a trend exception, a text and email notification is to be sent.
If pump is cycling >7% above normal the manager is to receive an alert by SMS and email.
Every Monday at 9am a flow meter report is to be sent directly to the Council.
If water quality changes to less than normal clarity then the supply inlet valves on scheme water tanks are to be closed and manager to be sent an alert by text and email.
Note:
-
1.accessPRO WATER may include features of other accessPRO products.
-
2.Functionality depends on sensors connected to console.
-
3.Additional things may be added at any time. Once configured, they are used by the console immediately.
