About our company
SenSys is a second-generation company that has stood the test of time.
Our company has been providing great service for nearly 40 years and in that time we have built a solid reputation for reliable and consistent software and electrical engineering and consulting. We specialise in process control, data acquisition and system modelling.
In addition to accessPRO, other sensor and control products we have designed include PastureProbe, a Chlorophyll Photometer and tree Water Status Sensors, all of which have gone worldwide.
Our expertise is based on long practical experience and the hard-won knowledge that comes from designing, manufacturing and servicing a wide range of control systems and instrumentation in an equally wide range of applications - science, horticulture, agriculture, Councils, food, beverage and manufacturing industries - large and small. Supporting control systems throughout New Zealand and Asia-Pacific has been our business since 1976 so we’ve been here for the long haul and are optimistic about the future. We are based in Nelson, New Zealand, with a Service Centre in Palmerston North, and soon to open a branch in Melbourne, Australia.
Our registered company name is Design Electronics Ltd and our trading name is SenSys - coined from ‘Systems for sensing our world’, which is what we are about.
